December Event #2 - Enchant Christmas at Santa Anita Park

There is something magical about the colorful twinkling and sparkling lights at Christmas time.  Let's spend an evening at Santa Anita Park, strolling through their gorgeous display of lights, including the world's largest Christmas light maze, Santa's landing, a marketplace, and much more.  We'll have a late lunch/early dinner first so we'll have plenty of energy to walk through all the beautiful lights.

Meet Time & Place:  2:00PM - The Old Spaghetti Factory, 1431 Buena Vista St, Duarte, CA

What Are We Doing?  We'll have a late lunch/early dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory, and then we'll take in the beautiful and amazing light displays of Enchant Christmas at Santa Anita Park

Where Are We Going?

  • Enchant Christmas at Santa Anita Park, 285 W. Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA (about 20 minutes from The Old Spaghetti Factory)

    • Park in Huntington Lot - Gate #3  (off of Huntington Dr)

    • Entry Time:  4:30PM - once inside, we can stay as long as we wish.

  • Dinner 

  • Enchant Christmas Ticket Price - Adult - $43.50 / Senior (65+) - $39.50 (includes fees)

    • Tickets have been purchased​

    • Ticket sales are final - no refunds.

  • Parking - $15.00/car (if purchased in advance - price is higher at gate)
    • Parking Passes for two cars have been purchased
    • $5.00 each to Seema (either Zelle or cash)
  • Gas Fee - See Below

Note:  ​

  • No outside food or drinks allowed - except one (33.8 oz max) factory-sealed, non-frozen plastic water bottle per person (no flavored water, soda, or soft drinks)

  • Purses/Bags must be no larger than 12 "x 12" x 6" - clear preferred - and will be subject to inspection.

  • Santa Anita Park is a cashless facility - they accept debit/credit cards or apple-pay/google-pay only.

  • This event goes on rain or shine.  OK to bring umbrellas if necessary (no pointy tips)

Carpools:  We need to carpool for this event.  

​​Formula for Gas Fee:  Total Round Trip Mileage ÷ 20 (MPG) x $5 (cost of gas per gallon & wear/tear on car)

​

​​Wear:  FRIENDS shirt (or something purple) and a Red Hat/Fascinator.  Also, comfy and sturdy walking shoes.  And a sweater/sweatshirt/jacket.
